Zoning Distircts Review, Analysis, and Recommendations

College Township

State College, PA

College Township is soliciting Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from consulting firms for review, analysis, and recommendations for the General Commercial (C-1) Zone and General Industrial (I-1) Zone. Specifically, the Township anticipates recommendations for modification of the existing zoning ordinance and the drafting of an ordinance amending the two zoning districts.

College Township, population 10,500, is located in the southern portion of Centre County, Pennsylvania, and is part of the Centre Region Council of Governments. The Centre Region is home to The Pennsylvania State University (~45,000 students), of which a portion lies in College Township. Many of PSU’s major athletic facilities lie in College Township, including Beaver Stadium and the Bryce Jordan Center. The Township itself also has a number of unique features, including the region’s only mall, a number of shopping centers, a research park, and most of the land zoned for industrial uses in the Centre Region.

Full RFQ details are available for review here: https://bit.ly/2K8CUmi.

Proposals are due to College Township no later than June 29, 2018, at 5:00 PM.
