Notice is hereby given that the City of Madison, IN requests proposals for a:

Madison Local Historic District Survey Update

Through this Request for Proposals (RFP), the City of Madison, IN is soliciting proposals from potential experienced firms (the "Provider or Providers") capable of providing update the Madison Local Historic District Survey for the City of Madison, Indiana. The area to be included within the update is generally described as the downtown district's 133 blocks of approximately 1600 parcels. Sealed proposals shall state on the outside of the envelope the company's name and address and be labeled "Historic District Survey Update Proposal", addressed to the attention of the following:

Proposals may also be hand-delivered to the Madison City Hall or by email to: nschell@madison-in.gov

Proposals received later than 3:00 PM on April 30, 2021, Eastern Standard Time will not be considered.

Please submit any questions regarding this RFP to nschell@madison-in.gov by April 16, 2021. Responses to questions will be posted on the City of Madison, IN website at https://www.madison-in.gov/department/division.php?structureid=84 by April 21, 2021. It is the responsibility of any proposer to review the City's website for any RFP revisions or answers to questions prior to submitting a proposal.

The City of Madison, IN will consider all the evaluation information obtained during the competitive negotiation process. The City of Madison, IN reserves the right to reject any and all proposals in part or in full for any reason. The City also reserves the right to change, cancel, or re-issue this RFP at any time. This RFP does not obligate the City of Madison, IN to pay any costs incurred by the respondents in the preparation and submission of a proposal, nor does it obligate the City to accept or contract for any expressed or implied services.
