ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

The Federal Planning Division (FPD) of the American Planning Association (APA) is pleased to host a virtual fall training workshop to provide a venue for participants to share best practices and visionary ideas with colleagues from well as federal, state, and local agencies and tribal nations in a focused way that provides opportunities for learning, dialogue, and collaboration.

The workshop will consist of three virtual sessions. The first will be a two hour-long session that will feature best practices in virtual facilitation and collaboration. The next two sessions will be 30 minutes each (with a 15-minute Q&A period following each). All sessions will be conducted via WebEx.

Registration for the sessions will open around October 30th. Please check this site for registration details as they are updated.

CALL FOR PROPSALS

Deadline: October 23, 2020

If you would like to present during the virtual engagement session or during one of the two 30-minute timeslots, please respond to the call for proposals by filling out this form.

Responses are due Friday, October 23, 2020 to FPDProgramSubmittals@gmail.com.

REGISTRATION

There is no registration fee to attend. Registration is required to attend the conference — you must register for each session individually. Registration details to be posted once the full workshop schedule is announced around October 30.
