Planning
The December issue of Planning also spotlights equity in stories on big-city approaches to community revitalization without gentrification and Natchez, Mississippi's new downtown plan. "Intersections" asks readers to describe their communities' strategies for equitable growth. Colorful examples of community participation are on display in Oklahoma City, Indianapolis, and Fargo, North Dakota, where planners are using public art to draw residents into the process of planning.
