WHAT CONNECTS US?

The City by the Bay
Enjoy our beautiful host city and the surrounding Bay Area.
- Visit one of five APA-designated Great Places in America: four great neighborhoods and one great public space.
- San Francisco consistently ranks as one of America's happiest, healthiest, and fittest cities. Fit right in by taking a Monday morning yoga class at the Presidio or joining Sunday's bayside 5K run and walk.
- Explore like a local with City Guide, created by the NPC19 Local Host Sub-Committee and curated by local planners. It highlights don't-miss sights, sounds, and flavors throughout the region.

San Francisco is known for cable cars, the Golden Gate Bridge, and more recently for technology and innovation. But do you know it also is in the vanguard of planning? Expand your conference perimeter by signing up for a mobile workshop, orientation tour, or other off-site event. Fascinating mobile workshops include:

Inspiration
Our keynote speakers will help us explore how we connect to each other. Violinist and opening speaker Vijay Gupta founded the nonprofit Street Symphony to offer musical engagement and education to homeless and incarcerated communities in Los Angeles. Conference closer Brett Culp is a documentary filmmaker and founder of a community-empowering nonprofit, the Rising Heroes Project.
