While she's not trained as a planner, her anthropology and political science background gives her a unique and important perspective on the urban environment. Learn about Mobley’s planning path as a New Orleans-based urbanist, organizer, and advocate. She is a member of the New Orleans City Planning Commission and an APA Arts and Culture Visiting Fellow.

FEMA opens applications for two hazard mitigation grant programs

Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities will support states, local communities, tribes and territories as they undertake hazard mitigation projects, reducing the risks they face from disasters and natural hazards. The Flood Mitigation Assistance Program provides funding to states, local communities, federally recognized tribes and territories. Both grant applications will be open from September 30, 2020 – January 21, 2021.

APA remembers the life of Lynn Jorgenson

APA Senior Leadership Associate Lynn Jorgenson died peacefully on September 18, after a short illness. She was a dedicated and valued member of the APA staff team for 21 years.
