Plans provide visions for the future and the structure for making that future possible. For climate and hazard resilience, it's important that resiliency isn't undermined by inconsistency in community plans. The new PAS Memo reports on research showing how planners can use the Plan Integration for Resilience Scorecard to improve community resilience and reduce vulnerability to hazards and climate change.

This PAS Memo is made available to all thanks to a partnership with the University of North Carolina's Coastal Resilience Center and financial support from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Uncovering JAPA
A framework to strengthen transportation planning

Examine that uncertainty using a robust decision-making framework for transportation planning.

Plus: The newest edition of JAPA is now available online! As an APA member, you can get access to the current JAPA issue and archives for as little as $36/year.
