About Barrett Planning Group LLC
Barrett Planning Group LLC is a small planning consultancy firm serving state and local governments and non-profit organizations in the Northeast. While most of our work centers on municipal comprehensive planning, zoning reform, and housing and community development, we provide a range of local government technical assistance and training services and strategic planning for community-based developers and community land trusts. We serve state housing and community development agencies as policy advisors, problem solvers, and technical assistance partners. Our firm has significant in-house expertise in the CDBG and HOME programs, enabling us to provide Consolidated Plan support as well as strategic consulting for program development, grant management performance, and community needs assessments.
Barrett Planning Group's mission is to support the development of healthy, sustainable communities that value justice, diversity, and social equity. Toward these ends, our firm addresses the planning and capacity building needs of local governments and non-profit community-based organizations, and we advise and assist the public agencies and private organizations that serve them.
