Long-Range Mobility Plan
City of Edmond
Edmond, OK
The City of Edmond has completed several transportation-related plans and activities over the past 20 years. These include such things as a sidewalk and trail plan, a master transportation plan, a bicycle master plan, a parks and recreation master plan (trails), comprehensive plans, a complete streets policy, and operation of a bus system. Many of these plans have become outdated for a variety of reasons and as stand-alone documents, their implementation can be challenging, which, along with other factors related to the city's evolution, has created a need for a more comprehensive approach to mobility.
The City of Edmond has created a branding component associated with transportation and mobility referred to as EdmondShift. (https://twitter.com/EdmondShift; http://edmondok.com/1483/Transportation-Planning)
