Position Summary

The Senior City Planner - Economic position is responsible for researching, developing, and supporting innovative policies and programs to achieve Portland's economic development objectives and land use planning for thriving business districts. This subject-matter expert position provides economic and real estate research, analysis, and consultation to BPS, other agencies, the business community, and the public. Senior Planners are experienced planners who are expected to carry out their responsibilities with initiative, independence and creativity, while exercising sound professional judgment and problem-solving skills.
