Responsibilities: This position issues, reviews, and processes information received by the public on commercial, industrial and residential building permits; investigates all complaints of zoning violations; and reviews and processes floodplain/floodway permits.

Status: Full-time, non-exempt, benefited

Working hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field and two years' experience using ESRI GIS software; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess and maintain a valid Missouri state driver's license and insurable driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in civil code enforcement or law enforcement.

Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) certification.

Starting Hourly Salary Range: $20.92 - $26.15 per hour.
