The Position
The Deputy Director of the Administrative Services division is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating all functions and activities of the Administrative Services division of the Department of Housing.
The Deputy Director oversees department-wide administrative functions, including but not limited to budget and finance, administrative support, information technology services, and facilities. The Deputy Director also oversees personnel management and development, employee engagement, wellness and safety, workers' compensation and risk management, performance tracking, research and data analysis, and other special projects.
Additionally, the Deputy Director provides highly responsible and complex administrative support and advisement to the Director, acts as the Director of Housing in their absence, and performs related duties as assigned. The Deputy Director exercises direct and indirect supervision over assigned managerial, professional, technical, and clerical staff.
