The Planner III performs a variety of routine and complex technical and professional tasks in current and/or long range planning for the City; and in the development and implementation of land use policies and regulations. Performs research for both long range and current planning of the City involving land use policies and regulations; and incorporation of strategies and initiatives to aid in meeting the City's operating and growth objectives. Works under the general supervision of the Senior Planner.
Minimum Qualifications
Masters' degree from an accredited four (4) year college or university with a degree in public administration, planning, landscape architecture or a closely related field with a three (3) years of progressive planning experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience,
or
Bachelors' degree from an accredited four (4) year college or university with a degree in public administration, planning, landscape architecture or a closely related field with five (5) years of progressive planning experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver's License.
