The city of Peabody, MA seeks an Assistant Director of Planning to support the Director and department with the city's land-use, planning, capital projects, and economic development efforts.

Reporting to the Director, the Assistant Director of Planning is responsible for a broad portfolio of responsibilities, which includes managing several large projects, administering a variety of state, regional, and federal grants, and working with various land-use boards and committees on planning initiatives and project management, and assisting the planning team with leading public engagement efforts. Oversees planning staff. Will support candidate to become certified.
