Prepares and develops information on existing conditions to be used in special studies, development review analysis and plan amendments. Makes site investigations to identify existing conditions. Makes planning recommendations and evaluates impact of proposals. Prepares reports on complex issues as requested by the branch chief. Researches, analyzes, and makes recommendations to senior staff, planning commission and board of supervisors on special and unique planning studies, complicated development applications and assigned tasks. Oversees research for studies. Collects data through resource material and field investigation. Analyzes data, using appropriate methodologies. Prepares results for written and oral presentations. Provides research and critical support to the county attorney's office on land use-related litigation, as assigned.
Note: Individual must be willing to participate in work assignments and meetings during the evening hours. Top candidate may be interviewed by the Director, Planning Division.
