The City of West Sacramento is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and service-oriented leader to serve as our newly-created Development Services Manager. This key management position is responsible for guiding and enhancing the City's development review and permitting processes, ensuring they are timely, customer-focused, and aligned with the City's commitment to high-quality growth and community satisfaction.

Reporting to the Community Development Director, the Development Services Manager oversees the daily operations of the Permit Center and serves as the central coordinator for complex development projects that require cross-departmental collaboration. The Manager plays a pivotal role in driving process improvements, integrating modern technologies, and fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and exceptional customer service.

• Proven expertise in development services, including land use entitlements, plan review, permitting, and inspection processes.
