Community and Economic Development Director
This dynamic leadership role is ideal for someone passionate about shaping vibrant, resilient communities through innovative planning, inclusive growth, and sustainable economic development.
As a key member of the City's leadership team, the Director will guide a dedicated staff and oversee strategic initiatives that enhance the city's charm, livability, and economic vitality. With responsibility for long-range planning, land use, zoning, historic preservation, housing, and economic development, this position plays a critical role in stewarding Glenwood's future while honoring its rich past.

The Economic and Community Development Director oversees the day-to-day operations of the Community Development Department. This position provides professional assistance to the public, elected officials, City staff and board and commission members. This position will make recommendations for planning capital expenditures and communicating those goals and objectives as part of the annual budget process for the Planning, Economic Development and Building Divisions.
