The City of Eufaula is seeking its first-ever City Planner, someone who is highly motivated, forward-thinking professional eager to shape the future of one of Oklahoma's most historic and fastest-growing lake communities. This is a landmark opportunity to build a modern planning program from the ground up and play a central role in guiding Eufaula's long-term growth, development, and quality of life.
About the Position
The City Planner will serve as the City's lead professional for zoning administration, long-range planning, development review, and implementation of the City's Comprehensive Plan. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and an ability to balance daily operations with strategic, community-wide initiatives. The City Planner reports directly to the City Manager and supervises Code Enforcement and Building Inspection staff.
