JOB DESCRIPTION

Exciting new opportunity for an entry level planner wishing to work in Summit County, located near 5 ski resorts, with the possibility to work remote a portion of the time. Employee housing options may be available.

This position is responsible for the intake, processing, tracking, and routing of routine/minor planning and development applications; responding to routine public inquiries; taking the lead on code enforcement issues; supporting planners in the review and coordination of complex land use proposals; acting as a backup to the planning commission secretary, and supporting planners in long-range planning efforts.

The position involves professional-level duties and judgment with some routine administrative tasks and will be responsible for preparing staff reports and presenting to Planning Commission and Town Council.
