JOB DESCRIPTION

The Deputy Director of Transit and Rail Programs is a newly established executive leadership role responsible for shaping the future of California's multimodal transportation system.

This position sets statewide vision, strategy, and policy for transit, rail, and integrated mobility, while providing oversight of the Division of Mass Transportation, Division of Rail, Division of Data and Digital Services, California Integrated Travel Project (Cal-ITP), and the Transit and Intercity Rail Capital Program (TIRCP).

Working across executive leadership and with partners at all levels of government, the Deputy Director drives transformational initiatives to deliver innovative, sustainable, and customer-focused transportation solutions that improve mobility and quality of life for all Californians.
