The North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) is the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for the Dallas-Fort Worth region, which is the fourth largest metropolitan area in the United States.

The Transportation Department of the North Central Texas Council of Governments is seeking a Principal Transportation Planner to assume a leadership role in its Transportation Safety Program. The individual in this position will manage the development and implementation of regional transportation safety coordination efforts and initiatives. The planning area for transportation includes the 12 counties of Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Hood, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Parker, Rockwall, Tarrant, and Wise.
