The Transportation Department of the North Central Texas Council of Governments is seeking to fill the following positions:

Senior-Level Planner – individual in this position would assume a leadership role on the Land-Use and Mobility Options program team, oversee staff activities, and implement programs and projects related to public transportation, specifically within the area of Transit Regional Coordination and Mobility Management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to participate in and discuss public transportation projects in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area with internal staff, transportation planners, public and private transportation providers, local governments, communities, and other stakeholders. The official title for the individual in this position will be Senior Transportation Planner.

Transportation Planner I or II – individual in this position would support projects related to public transportation, specifically within the area of Transit Regional Coordination and Mobility Management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to participate in a wide range of public transportation projects with transit partners in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area as well as work with internal staff, public and private transportation providers, local governments, communities, and other stakeholders.

The planning area for transportation includes the 12 counties of Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Hood, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Parker, Rockwall, Tarrant, and Wise.
