The Comprehensive Plan's Natural, Cultural, Historic, Scenic, Energy, and Groundwater Resources element (Chapter 7) includes a goal to increase the use of solar energy and other renewable energy resources in new development (Goal 7.5.2) along with a policy for regulations requiring consideration of solar energy options in the development process (Policy h).
