Solar Energy

The city adopted amendments to its General Plan that incorporate policy updates to the Air Quality section of the plan's Open Space and Conservation Element supporting its Climate Action Plan. The amendments add a guiding policy of reducing energy use in the built environment, in part through use of renewable energy systems (7.3-G-3). Implementing policies include adopting guidelines and standards to promote on-site renewable energy systems (7.3-I-12).
