The city’s zoning code establishes a planned development option for larger infill development projects (§18.53). The Traditional Neighborhood Development Infill District encourages planned development in established areas that is compatible with the existing development pattern, while reusing historic structures whenever possible. This development option permits higher densities and a greater mix of uses than permissible under existing zoning designations in exchange for conformance with site and building design standards.
