Integrated Water Resource Managment

Broward County’s county-wide Integrated Water Resource Plan (IWRP) is a 10-year plan to address the challenges of water management within the county, including population growth, seasonal variability in rainfall, and loss of natural systems.  The plan focuses on an adaptive management process that responds to unique local conditions to ensure that water supply will meet both public water supply and natural system needs.  It works to build coordination within the water management community and to match water sources with uses.
