Integrated Water Resource Managment

The City’s ordinance provides requirements for discharges to the water pollution control facility (WPCF) (§8.04) and enables the city to comply with all applicable state and federal laws required by the Clean Water Act and the pretreatment regulations adopted pursuant to that Act (40 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 403).

It discusses requirements to prevent the introduction of pollutants into the WPCF, reuse and recycle of industrial wastewater and sludge, and equitable distribution of the cost of operation, maintenance and improvement of the WPCF.
