Creative Placemaking

This report explores how creative placemaking contributes to community development. It provides four case studies of creative placemaking initiatives that strengthened communities, highlighting how these projects contributed to the physical, social, or economic conditions within communities. Additionally, it summarizes lessons learned, including the role of government subsidies and private finance, the importance of incorporating artists early in the process, and the positive impact that participatory arts and culture initiatives can have on marginalized communities.
