Creative Placemaking

This functional plan promotes artistic vitality through creative placemaking in Laguna Beach. It identifies four goals with recommendations: encouraging artists to have thriving careers, expand arts offerings for residents and visitors, enhance artistic identity and reputation, and support cultural leadership within the city. A detailed section on goals, strategies, and recommended actions contains a variety of model projects outside of Laguna Beach that fit in with plan goals, including examples of a community arts campus project, co-working communities, and high-profile arts events.
