Solar Energy | Wind Energy

This functional plan presents a vision for the city's future energy use and a strategy to achieve that vision. It discusses current programs and policies which support solar and wind energy. It includes “future opportunities at the distribution edge” which discusses energy pathways post-2025 that include the support for building-integrated small-scale solar and wind energy systems (p.22). It discusses ongoing and future utilization of citywide community choice aggregation (CCA) and power purchase agreements (PPAs).
