“The White Space”

This article discusses the fact that white people are able to avoid what is conceived as “the black space” while black people are forced to interact with “the white space.” It defines these spaces, introduces the concept of moral authority, and shares three case studies that show how the design of spaces and the racialization of bodies in these spaces perpetuates inequity.
