Social Equity

These interactive maps of New York, Portland, Southern California, and the San Francisco Bay Area show the process of gentrification and displacement. Each city has a Gentrification and Displacement Map, where census tracts are classified in a displacement typology and additional demographic, housing, education, and migration data can be added. The Bay Area also has a Migration by Race and Income Map, a Rent and Demographic Change Map, and a Policy Tools Map. Southern California has a Policy Tools Map and a Story Map. Each map includes a summary of the key findings and links to additional reports.
