The city’s ordinance amends the zoning and land use regulations to include an Environmental Justice and Cumulative Impacts chapter. It calls for the creation of a citywide Natural Resources Index and Environmental Review Checklist and calls for the Environmental Commission to submit policy and project recommendations annually. It also sets parameters for impact assessments required by commercial and industrial use applicants.
