Housing Supply Planning

This report is a housing needs assessment for Boise, Idaho. It analyzes existing demographic and economic conditions, reviews the city’s current housing inventory and programs, and looks at housing market trends. It also includes build-out analyses for four planning areas, discusses low-income and special needs population housing, and outlines the city’s biggest housing challenges moving forward. Appendix D shares housing trust fund case studies and Appendix E shares housing first program case studies from across the U.S. and Canada.
