Housing Supply Planning

This web page introduces the Decennial Census of Population and Housing, a program of the U.S. Census Bureau and a common public data source for housing supply planning. Mandated by the Constitution, this survey collects basic demographic data from every person living in the U.S. as of April 1 every ten years. One in six residents receive a long-form questionnaire with additional demographic and housing questions.
