This article proposes a framework that integrates Blockchain Technology (BTC) and Building Information Modeling (BIM) to address post-disaster rebuilding efforts and help enhance redevelopment in communities. It presents the method as a solution to strengthen the permitting process and accelerate communities' recovery efforts by using a decentralized and robust data exchange technology.
