This article presents artificial intelligence as a solution to help determine areas that exceed permissible noise levels around health institutions. It uses support vector machine (SVM) networks to classify and map buffer areas with elevated noise levels, which can help planners and other decision-makers take action to mitigate or limit the spread of urban noise pollution.
